雅麗菊原生於馬達加斯加高地，在當地語言中有另一個名字：Dingadingana，意思是「一步一步地跨越」。它是野草般的存在，不需照料、不必打氣，在農民棄置的休耕地裡，自顧自地冒出頭來，長得比人還高。

The hardest part of living was never reaching the end — it is taking the first step. And that step does not need to be perfect. It only needs your willingness to begin.

Iary is native to the highlands of Madagascar, known locally by another name: Dingadingana, meaning to cross over, one step at a time. It grows like a wildflower, needing no tending and no encouragement, pushing up on its own in fields farmers have left fallow, standing taller than a person.

The oil drawn from its leaf rises fresh and green, full of vitality, unfolding a faint sweetness like longan fruit, rounded out by the brightness of pine. There is, in its feel, something that seems to ease the stiffness the day leaves behind, and to gently work loose whatever has knotted around the heart, restoring a sense of softness and give.
