Walk forward, unafraid

Stout camphor is a tree native only to Taiwan.

It can live past five hundred years, stand unfallen for a hundred more after death, and remain unrotten for a hundred years after that.

Its scent opens cool like wind moving through a valley, then settles into a spicy, penetrating woodiness that reaches straight through to something like a wake-up call.

Life always brings its share of storms. Fear comes. The urge to retreat comes. That is entirely normal.

But you do not have to wait until you feel ready, or until fear disappears completely.

Carry the same quiet conviction as an ancient, sacred tree — look straight at what is in front of you, and then walk forward, unafraid.

Grounded in the present, spoken through scent.
